BETH PIPER

Beth is assistant trainer and an instructor with Rancho Del Mar.  She moved to California to join RDM after graduating in 2005 from Stephens College, with a B.S. degree in Equestrian Business Management.

Her equine background is unique.  She has had experience with hunter ponies as a juvenile rider, shown Arabians throughout high school, and worked with Saddlebreds during college, including two internships with Delovely Farm.  With extensive teaching experience, Beth has instructed riders of all ages, levels and riding disciplines.

She thoroughly enjoys the opportunity at Rancho Del Mar to teach riders of wide-ranging skill levels and ages, all with different goals in mind.  From riders who are focused on showing competitively to adults wanting to fulfill a childhood dream, and kids who are just horse crazy, Beth loves to see the bond between horse and rider, and the special way this connection influences people’s lives.  She is also excited about being involved as a co-advisor with the Rancho Del Martians Youth Group, which offers riders and their families the chance to participate in various activities, both at the barn and in the local community.

Away from the barn, Beth enjoys camping and spending time at the beach.

Lessons with Beth are detailed, goal-oriented and fun!
