Rancho Del Martians Youth Group

The Rancho Del Martians Youth Group is an organized club affiliated with the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) since 2003.  They are an active, fun-loving group that has participated in promoting and educating the public about the American Saddlebred and Morgan breeds through their various annual activities: 

  • Del Mar County Fair - Showcase of the Breeds/Parts of Horse demo

  • Equine Affaire - Parts of Horse demo/volunteer in ASB booth/riding demos

  • Valley Center Western Days Parade - riding, marching & booth

  • Escondido Holiday Parade - riding and marching

  • V.C. Day of the Horse - Parts of horse & riding demo

  • Donations to charitable causes - the Helen Woodward Therapeutic Riding Center, Tsunami Relief, American Humane Assoc./Hurricane Katrina pets relief

  • FUNdraisers such as RDM Annual Play Day, bake sales & more

  • American Saddlebred Horse Association contests

  • Field Trips - Night of the Horse, Soak City, Movies, Barbeques & more!!

Beth and Janet serve as advisors for this group.  Meetings are held as necessary to discuss RDMartian activities throughout the year.  Young horse lovers do not need to own a horse to be a member of the awesome Rancho Del Martians Youth Group.  It is a fun time for all!!
